Ok...next destination...Birmingham. Mr. Amal and family had joined us for the next three days trip. Earlier that day Yantie and I had prepared some basic necessities for our next journey. We packed nasi goreng, onion rings and baked potatoes. Senang sket la bile je lapar bleh benti makan.
We went to the Queen Anne factory first. Ikutkan dari Maida Vale akan jumpe Thomasland dulu. Tapi takut lama kat Thomasland, kang tutup laks QA tu..melepas plak kang. :toxic: Mula-mula bile sampai tempat yang di tuju, dengan bantuan tom-tom (GPS), kami tibe dekat area gudang-gudang dan kilang-kilang. Hahaha...ingatkan salah tempat! $-) Rupenye betul... LOL So we spend less than an hour there. Masa tu harga-harga yang di tawarkan sangat berpatutan. Tapi..kena ingat lah kan...kang nak bawak dalam luggage.. jadi beli ape yang patut sahaja. :-)
Lepas dah beli ala qadar tu, trus kami ke Thomasland. This Thomasland is recently opened for public. It was in the Drayton Manor Theme Park. Bleh tengok kat website dia. Banyak info yang disediakan. I beli tickets online, so sampai kat guard post, tunjuk je barcode of the tickets...terus masuk aje. 8-) Masa nak carik parking tu..aduhai dah nampak segala bagai games la. Ala-ala Genting Theme Park kite la... We chose to go here sebab ada Thomas ni la...untuk budak-budak..tapi parent pun join sama! :groucho:
Kami isi tangki dulu...pastu baru masuk dan enjoy! :wave: :wave: Irfan dan Khairyn sangat seronok la... dok naik Harold the Helicopter, naik Thomas & Percy's ride, Bertie the Bus and a few more. I was so happy that we came here. In fact Amal and Azam did try a few adults ride. Mommies malas lak nak main.. Maybe dah puas ati dapat beli QA sket kot ek Yantie?? :satisfied_nod: :satisfied_nod:
We were also considered as lucky since they were closing at 6pm that day coz the gate will close at 5pm or 6pm, depending on the weather. Memandangkan kami sampai pun dah pukul 3pm. So 3 jam nak spend dalam park tu kire dah ok lah.. :-D
Later we checked into Travelodge Birmingham only at 19pound!! Alhamdulillah..dapat yang consider murah la. Masa tu ada promotion. Dapat family room, besar la. Sangat berpuas hati. Siap katil queen + one sofa bed! :angel_fly:
Then we headed to Haziman and Hendon's house which is about 7 minutes away. They are Amal+Yantie's family friend. TQVM for the delicious dinner prepared by the hostess :flowers: :flowers: Sedap gile. Makaceh banyak-banyak Hendon. Kebetulan Hendon pun ex-IIUM. Sama batch grad ngan kiteorg. Kirenye jejak kasih gak la kiteorg ni.. hikhikhik. Nanti bile balik Malaysia (dan sekiranya kami ada di Malaysia) jangan lupa call tau. Let us treat u all plak.
After dinner,kiteorg balik ke Travelodge dan ZZZzzzz.....
